Parking is limited and on the roadside.

This is a lovely walk and there’s lots of variety: open fields, dark hollow lanes and expansive views from the clifftops. In wet weather and/or winter the route could be very muddy and slippery in parts. We started this walk from Symondsbury and walked anti-clockwise with a short ice cream break at Seatown. There are also a pub and public toilets at Seatown. The walk through the hollow lanes from Symondsbury is fascinating. For many years the soft sandsone flanking the lane has been used as a public sculpture exhibition and there are some gems amongst the myriad of initials and similar graffiti. The Ilchester Arms at Symonsbury is a good place for some refreshment after the walk.

There are lots of ways to vary this walk or just make it up as you go along.
