This is a short walk and largely level but the views across southern Snowdonia and towards Barmouth are spectacular. It’s one of those walks that gives far more than it takes. There’s a small car park at the start of the walk and the walk itself is popular and very well signposted; the gpx file isn’t necessary at all. We walked this anti-clockwise (part of the route was one way due to the Covid19 restrictions that were in place at the time) and returned to the car park along the western side of the reservoir; although there are paths on both sides.
