The what3words address takes you to a carpark on Woodnook Lane where there is ‘pay-and-display’ parking. There are further parking spaces a little further down the  lane and there are also toilets by the lower carparks (where there is also some disabled parking). There are three reservoirs at Linacre, built between 1855 and 1904 and, between them, they hold more than 240 million gallons of water. The reservoirs are surrounded by fields and bluebell woods and there are several trails.

We walked this route clockwise, walking away from the reservoirs towards Woodnook and Ashgate before looping back and circling the water. The paths are easy to follow and take you through farmland with lovely views before returning to the reservoirs and woodland. It was an easy, rewarding walk.
