- what3words address for parking: I’m reluctant to suggest parking. There’s very little along the B4416 where you can pull in. You may have more luck in one of the minor roads off the B road, for example ///testy.dozed.river but please park safely and considerately.

This is a lovely walk with some great views and plenty of variety. Some parts are well signposted but others are not and feel like they are rarely, if ever, walked. The section in the north-east through bracken can be a bit challenging to find the ‘right’ path and I almost lost my boots in deep mud in another section! Be more observant than I was! However, it’s a very rewarding walk and well worth the effort.
